The CPFP is now accepting applications for the 2018 Summer Curriculum.

The deadline for all applications is 11:59 pm, U.S. Eastern Standard Time on February 1, 2018.

There is NO COST to attend either course.

Creating a Summer Curriculum Application

To apply for the NCI Summer Curriculum in Cancer Prevention, you must first determine if you are applying as a domestic or international applicant.

Domestic Applicant

  • You are a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident; OR you are a foreign national working or studying in the U.S. who will still be residing in the U.S. at the time of the Summer Curriculum and whose current visa status is sufficient to remain in the U.S. for the duration of the Summer Curriculum.
  • There is NO funding for domestic applicants. Room, board, and transportation expenses (including parking) are the responsibility of the participant. The CPFP is unable to direct applicants to funding sources and assist with logistics.
  • The deadline is 11:59 pm, U.S. Eastern Standard Time on February 1, 2018.

International Applicant

  • You reside in a country other than the United States or one of its territories; OR you are a foreign national currently working or studying in the U.S. who will be residing in the U.S. at the time of the Summer Curriculum, but whose current visa status is not sufficient to remain in the U.S. for the duration of the Summer Curriculum.
  • The NCI's Center for Global Health (CGH) welcomes international applicants for the Summer Curriculum. Individuals currently engaged in public health programs, cancer research and cancer control are encouraged to apply. A limited amount of financial support may be available for select meritorious applications from low and middle income countries as defined by the World Bank. Applicants must include letters of support from home institutions, academic or ministerial, indicating commitment to research and continued engagement in cancer control activities.
  • The deadline is 11:59 pm, U.S. Eastern Standard Time on February 1, 2018.
